Safer Merthyr Tydfil has been successful in securing funding from the Volunteering In Wales fund to commence a new and innovative mentoring programme aimed at supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
The programme will see mentors providing low level, additional support within the community and/or in a group setting. Support will include assisting service users to widen their support and social networks to reduce isolation and increase health and well being.
