SMT response to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic

SMT are risk assessing daily and responding as advised by government. Our main focus is to protect the health, wellbeing and safety of staff and service users alike. We will continue to deliver our services by exploring and adopting alternative methods of engagement and adjusting our working practices to enable us to function effectively. We have taken the difficult decision to suspend our group activities and non-essential face to face appointments which will be reviewed on 28th May in line with further government guidance. All SMT staff are working from home and continue to offer support. Please be assured that we will remain in regular contact with our service users, albeit using alternative communication methods, which may cause some disruption to routine delivery of services. We appreciate your patience and support during this uncertain and rapidly changing situation.
We hope you remain safe and well.

About Safer Merthyr Tydfil

Established in 1997, SMT are a registered charity that offers services to people of all age groups that increases confidence and enables communities to feel safer. We have cultivated a reputation of trust and respect through understanding the needs of people and the issues they face in their daily lives.
